Carol Adair Spokane

Service for Carol J. Adair, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Burial will be at Marshall Cemetery.

Mrs. Adair, who died Thursday, was born in Spokane and graduated from Cheney High School in 1943.

She was manager of the Montgomery Ward Catalog Store for 17 years before retiring in 1968.

She was a member of the Windsor Grange.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dellie Adair; two daughters, Melodye McBride of Deer Park and April Adair of Spokane; one brother, Dale Hazel, and two sisters, Dixie Crabb and Jerri Morash, all of Spokane; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Windsor Grange.

Mildred Davis Deer Park

Service for Mildred Bernice Davis, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Deer Park. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Deer Park. Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis, who was born in Olema, Wash., died Tuesday.

She had been a nurse’s aide for many years at Okanogan County Farm/Hospital and Old Folks Home. She lived in St. Maries before moving to Deer Park in the early 1980s.

Her husband, James Davis, died in 1984. She is survived by one son, Donald Davis of St. Maries; three daughters, Mary Mae Pipkin of Seattle, Renee Olalia of Deer Park, and Carol Whisman of Willamina, Ore.; one sister, Marion Feigert of Clatskanie, Ore.; 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 14 greatgreat-grandchildren.

Vivian Riley Apache Junction, Ariz.

Family burial service for Vivian (Bolon) Riley, 95, will be held at Riverside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Riley died March 3 in Arizona, where she had lived since 1975. She was born in Valley, Wash.

She and her husband, Gilbert Riley, moved to Spokane in 1925 and operated Riley’s Fruit Stand at Division and Carlisle for 38 years. They retired in 1968.

Her husband died in 1971. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Teter of Paradise, Calif., and Darrell Teter of Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Virginia Dickey of Medford, Ore., and Erma Zaklan of Apache Junction; two sisters, Pina Stanford and Catherine Gilmore, both of Orofino, Idaho; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four greatgreat-grandchildren.

Lois Hoag Spokane

No service will be held for Lois A. Hoag at her request. HennesseySmith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hoag, 84, died Tuesday. She was born in Pomeroy, Wash.

She had lived in Spokane for 60 years and had worked as a waitress.

Her husband, Philip Hoag, died in 1983. She is survived by a niece.

Neoma Hanrahan Spokane

Memorial service for Neoma E. Hanrahan, 89, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Northside Church of Christ. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hanrahan, who died Wednesday,was born in Spokane.

A longtime Spokane resident, she was a docent at the Museum of Native American Culture (MONAC), teaching beading and other art forms.

She completed her general equivalency diploma in 1984 at the age of 79.

She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, the Deaconess Medical Center Auxiliary and the China Painters Guild.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Raymond Hanrahan; a son, Kenneth Smith of Spokane; a daughter, Gail Woosley of Corvallis, Ore.; a brother, Edwin Kelly of Spokane; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Inland Empire Diabetes Association or Northside Church of Christ.

Bonnie Stuart Worley, Idaho

Graveside service for Bonnie Stuart, 71, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Waverly (Wash.) Cemetery. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stuart died Wednesday. She was born in Spokane.

She and her husband moved to Waverly, Wash., in 1949. They operated the Waverly Store and Post Office until they retired in 1981 and moved to Sun Up Bay near Worley.

She was a member of Park Heights Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, J.M. Stuart; two sons, Jim Stuart of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Bob Stuart of San Diego; a daughter, Jeannie Graham of Monroe, Wash.; a brother, Bill Harrington and a sister, Louise Carl, both of Spokane; and five grandchildren.

Ida Heuston Spokane

Memorial service for Ida Heuston, 91, is set for 11 a.m. Monday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North.

Mrs. Heuston, who died Tuesday, was born in Bertha, Minn.

She moved to Chewelah when she was 20, and then to Waterville, Wash., with her husband.

They lived there for 18 years before moving to Spokane in 1948.

Mrs. Heuston was a homemaker.

She was a 40-year member of Fourth Memorial Church and taught Sunday school there. She was also a member of the women’s missionary circles.

Her husband, DeLoss “Jack” Heuston, died in 1957. She is survived by two daughters, Marian Newman and Zada Rodolph, both of Spokane; two sons, Gene Heuston of Yakima and Jack Heuston of Spokane; two brothers, Richard Waldow of Spokane and Albert Waldow of Miles City, Mont.; two sisters, Sophie Kuether of Spokane and Bernice Swanson of Deer Lake, Wash.; nine grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
