Ex-Teacher, Auto Exec To Head Ywca Benefit

A Spokane business woman and a Whitworth professor will serve as master of ceremonies and honorary chairwoman at the YWCA’s annual benefit breakfast Tuesday.

Margaret Saunders Ott is a professor emeritus of music at Whitworth College and serves on several local boards and committees that guide musical development throughout Spokane.

Ott will serve as honorary chairwoman for the 7:30 a.m. breakfast at the Ag Trade Center. A $100 minimum donation is requested for tickets.

Roberta Greene is sales development vice president for Empire Ford and a former president of the Spokane Lilac Festival Association. She will serve as master of ceremonies.

The money goes to several programs administered by the YWCA including the Alternatives to Domestic Violence, the Children’s Center, Women and Multicultural Services, youth programs and fitness programs.
