Man Held In Rape

A Rathdrum man is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond after allegedly raping a woman Friday night.

Jonathan M. Crill, 31, was arrested by Rathdrum police minutes after leaving the home of the woman, whom he knew. The victim described Crill and his vehicle to police.

Rathdrum Police Chief Bob Moore said Crill entered the Timberline Street home without knocking. He allegedly went into the bedroom of the 32-year-old woman and raped her.

“She told him to leave her alone,” Moore said.
