NCAA runner-up Arkansas and Fresno State, about to embark on the Jerry Tarkanian era, headline the field for the Preseason NIT at New York.Georgia Tech, which created a stir when it was overlooked by the NCAA Selection Committee and then turned down the postseason NIT, also will be in the field.
