Vernon Johnson reported Tuesday the $469 theft of a Craftsman electric motor and air compressor from his garage in the 2300 block of North Ninth.

Istvan Szasz reported Tuesday the $580 theft of a rifle and jacket from his truck parked at Tom Addis Dodge, 1409 N. 14th.

Margie Waddell reported Tuesday the $420 theft of tools and a toolbox, CB radio and cellular phone from her vehicle parked in the 3600 block of Hillcrest Drive.

Richard Partington reported Tuesday the $450 theft of an auto cassette stereo and equalizer as well as a backpack from his vehicle parked at his home in the 2800 block of Masters Drive.

Terena Hoesche reported Monday the $315 theft of a black leather purse, checkbook and jewelry from her vehicle parked at her home in the 1100 block of Shannon Lane.

Kootenai County sheriff

Angaleka Siroshton, manager for Plum Tan, 9815 N. Government Way, reported Tuesday the $450 theft of a cash register, checks and cash.

James Nestell reported Tuesday the theft of an $800 Honda trolling motor from his garage in the 2700 block of East Green Court in Rathdrum, Idaho.

James McLeod reported Tuesday the $3,397 theft of a television, speakers, snowboards, boots and two rifles from his storage unit at Dalton Storage.

Post Falls police

Scott Rynearson reported Monday $1,200 in damage to the heating and venting system at United Paint, 1590 E. Seltice Way.

Tammy Edgemon reported Tuesday the theft of a $1,300 settlement check via Federal Express.

Jeremie Streeter reported Wednesday the $950 theft of a CD player and compact discs from a vehicle in the 200 block of West 19th.
