Slain Couple Studied Extreme-Right Groups
A German couple who reportedly investigated the extreme-right movement in their homeland were found shot dead in their car Thursday in Brittany.
The car was pocked with bullet holes and the windows were smashed, investigators said. Also killed were two dogs and two cats.
Underneath the car was a pile of sticks and paper, possibly a sign that someone may have intended to start a fire.
Radio Bretagne-Ouest said the couple had authored a study on works by the German extreme-right movement aimed at children.
