CV District Safety Program Is Meeting Topic

Safety and peer mediation programs at Central Valley schools will be discussed at a community policing organization meeting Thursday.

Karl Ota, Central Valley School District’s safety committee chairman, will talk about the district’s safety program.

Marilyn Burkhart, counselor at University High School, will discuss the peer mediation program.

The University SCOPE group’s meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the University High School cafeteria.
