Summit Valley To Hold Levy Election
Voters in the Summit Valley School District near Addy, Wash., will be asked Tuesday to approve a $26,000-per-year, two-year operating levy.
The 1996-97 levy would cost property owners an estimated $1.39 per $1,000 of assessed value. A 60 percent majority is required for approval.
There is nothing else on the ballot in Stevens, Pend Oreille, Lincoln or Ferry counties except for a $5.5 million bond measure in the Deer Park School District. Most of the district is in Spokane County, but part is in Stevens County.
