Bravo Award Recognizes Supporters Of Performing Arts
It’s that time of year again - time to submit nominations for the 1995 Bravo Award.
Every year, this award is presented to a person, business or foundation in recognition of outstanding support for the performing arts in Spokane.
Last year, Firth Chew was the recipient of the Bravo Award.
Generally, people nominate a person or organization that has supported more than one performing arts organization and/or discipline.
The award will be presented at the 1995 Royal Fireworks Concert on July 30 in Riverfront Park.
All nominations must be postmarked by June 28.
Send to: Biggs & Dutton, 615 W. Cotta Ave., Spokane, WA 99204.

SAS is also looking for volunteers, teens and adults to assist children who participate in its “Make It Art! Fest!” The festival occurs June 2-5.
Volunteers would help children create craft and art projects, from bead making to sculpting.
The school also needs an assortment of art and craft materials to get the festival off the ground.
The more imaginative, the better. Materials can be: colorful wire, board-game parts, beads, paper flowers, old costume jewelry and metallic papers.
The art school is also seeking basic supply donations like glue, boxes and paper towels.
