Marlow New UI Assistant A.D.

Mike Marlow, an assistant at the University of Montana, has been named assistant athletic director at the University of Idaho to work on development.

Marlow has been in a similar position at Montana since 1991. Marlow, a 1990 graduate of Wash ington State, is a native of Hoquiam, Wash.

He succeeds Lance West, who resigned in March to take a position at Marshall University.

Wrestler signs at NIC

North Idaho College has signed Jason Moaney, a 167-pound former junior national champion, NIC coach John Owen said.

Moaney went to high school in Dover, Maryland, and was a redshirt last season at TennesseeChattanooga. He’ll have two seasons with the Cardinals.

Owen said NIC’s Scott Surplus has signed at Boise State. Surplus was an All-American at 167 pounds last year.
