Elmer Doolittle Spokane

Elmer Roland Doolittle, Spokane, will celebrate his 100th birthday today.

Born May 18, 1895, in Turtle Lake, Wis., he has been a resident of Eastern Washington for the past 87 years.

He married Christine Caprai on Aug. 2, 1915. She died in 1968.

Mr. Doolittle was a farmer for 18 years, a logger, a millwright, and a grocery store owner for 6 years.

He has one daughter, Doris Hale, of Spokane; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
