Nfl Owners Conclude Meetings

Compiled From Wire Services

National Football League owners ended their meeting without much discussion on the $750 million antitrust lawsuit by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and under a cloud over the impending move of the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore.

The only business resolved by the owners was a decision to maintain the current division alignments for the 1996 season. Despite all the talk of teams moving from one city to another, NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue said the league is healthy and stable.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Bryce Paup has been fined $12,000 for a hit on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Paul Justin in the Bills’ 16-10 victory Sunday.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young said that he “intends to play,” in Sunday’s game against Dallas.
