Associated Press

Russian scientists have found an archeological treasure trove in ancient caves in the Chelyabinsk region, news reports said Friday.

The 28 caves have yielded petrified animal bones, stone implements, bronze arrowheads, a hand-polished giant reindeer horn and jewelry dating from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages, the ITAR-Tass news agency said. The site is 930 miles east of Moscow.
