The council will hear details of proposed budgets for the water, wastewater and solid waste departments. The council also will consider an appeal by a developer over plans for a community shopping center on U.S. 195.

NorthTown Mall Traffic Study

Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. special meeting

Comfort Inn North, 7111 N. Division

A report of a private traffic analysis of the mall’s plans to expand a parking lot and department store along Division Street.

Spokane Library Board

Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. regular meeting, third-floor board room

Main library, 906 W. Main

The board will discuss plans for the East Side branch opening and design plans for the Shadle branch.

Spokane County Commission

Monday, grass burning hearings all day

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., briefing with chief administrative officer, commission conference room;

1:30 p.m., regular meeting, consent items;

5 p.m., regular meeting, nonconsent items

Thursday, 10:30 a.m., meeting to discuss contract with Dispute Resolution Center, commission conference room;

1:45 p.m., Spokane County Health District Board, rooms 320 and 321 in health district building

Friday, 9:30 a.m., Growth Management Act Steering Committee, upper training room, human resources department
