Graf Breezes Into Finals

Steffi Graf took just 56 minutes to beat Zina Garrison-Jackson, 6-1, 6-3, in the semifinals of the $800,000 Advanta Championships at the Civic Center.

The win moved Graf, who is the No.1 seed and the top-ranked player in the world, into her first tournament final since the U.S. Open. She will play unseeded Lori McNeil, who upset defending champion Anke Huber 6-4, 6-7 (1-7), 7-6 (12-10).
