Snowflake Festival Will Beat Mid-Winter Blahs

The Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is accepting applications from artists and crafts people to display their wares during the Snowflake Festival next February at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.

The Snowflake Festival is a nine-day event “in celebration of the arts and the community - and to bring excitement to our February blahs,” a spokesman said.

Auditions

ACT Theatre, 425 N. Evergreen, will hold auditions for its January production, “Agnes of God,” at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 20 and 21.

Those auditioning for the role of Agnes should be prepared to sing a one-minute song acapella, said Marilyn Langbehn, director.

There are three openings for women between the ages of 17 and 50.

Public meeting

The Valley Repertory Theatre, 12212 E. Sprague, will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m., Monday , to elect a new board of directors. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
