‘Self Leadership’ Will Be Topic

Three of the country’s top figures in personal and professional development will lead a closed-circuit presentation at the Spokane Convention Center on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event, titled “Eleven Lessons in Self Leadership,” will feature Dr. Stephen Covey, author of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”; Dr. Tom Peters, who wrote “In Search of Excellence”; and Dr. Denis Waitley, author of “The Psychology of Winning.”

Linda Ellerbee, an Emmy-winning journalist, will moderate the discussion, which is being presented by Eastern Washington University. Participants may ask the speakers questions via the Internet from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.

Registration fees range from $149 per person for one to two people, and $124 per person for a group of 40 or more. The fee includes a meal and handout materials.
