Leaf Pickup Crews Making The Rounds

Spokane city leaf pickup crews are making the rounds, collecting leaves that fall naturally into the streets.

Residents no longer are allowed to rake leaves from their yards to the curb for collection.

Crews will be in the following areas during the next few days:

Today. Cannon Hill area: south of Interstate 90, north of 29th Avenue, east of High Drive and Cannon Street and west of Monroe Street.

Thursday. Manito Park area: south of I-90, north of 29th, west of Grand Boulevard and east of Monroe.

Monday. Comstock area: south of 29th, north and east of High, west of Bernard Street.

Monday and Tuesday: Browne’s Addition: south of Riverside Avenue, north of Second Avenue, west of Maple Street and east of Coeur d’Alene Street.

Residents are asked to remove their cars from the streets on pickup days. For more information, call the “leaf line” at 456-2666.
