Mr. And Mrs. Brown Spokane

Leo and Ruth Brown, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise celebration in September at the home of their son, Randy Brown in Greenacres.

Hosts for the event were their children: Randy Brown, and Janis and her husband, John Smeall, Tacoma. Also assisting was Leo’s sister, Maude Foster, Spokane.

Married Dec. 11, 1945, in Springfield, Mass., the Browns have four grandchildren.
