A Hall of Fame induction luncheon and the selection of the Jesse Owens Award winner highlight the USA Track and Field Convention underway today at the site of the 1996 Olympic Games.

The six who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a Thursday luncheon are distance star Marty Liquori, Olympic gold medalists Florence Griffith Joyner, Louise Ritter and Valerie Brisco-Hooks, retired Auburn University coach Mel Rosen and the late Don Lash, an Olympic distance star during the 1930s.
