Jenny Chappell of Montana survived early morning rain to shoot an 84 for a 36-hole total of 167 and medalist honors as she led the Grizzlies to the team championship in the Eastern Washington Fall Invitational women’s golf tournament at The Creek at Qualchan on Monday.

Montana easily won the two-round tournament with 708 strokes. Idaho overtook host EWU for second at 723, to the Eagles’ at 730. Gonzaga was fourth with 787, with Northern Arizona fifth with an 805.
