Sixteen air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Sept. 25 and Oct. 1:

Sept. 25

Odor of compost at Colbert Compost Facility was reported at 2:55 p.m.

Dust from unpaved road was reported along Chestnut Street, between 20th and 23rd, at 10:40 a.m.

Sept. 26

Open fire at 32316 N. Hardesty was reported at 3:34 p.m.

Odor of compost at Colbert Compost Facility was reported at 9 a.m.

Open fire in 16500 block of South Carstens was reported at 11 a.m.

Sept. 27

An odor from a solid-fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported at 3517 W. Sixth at 1:10 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 9000 block of North Harwood at 3:15 p.m.

Odor of compost was reported at Colbert Compost Facility at 7:56 p.m.

Dust from sandblasting was reported at 3703 W. Princeton at 9 a.m.

An odor from a solid-fuel burning device was reported at 801 W. Jackson at 10:50 a.m.

Oct. 1

Open fire was reported in the Reflection Lake area at 2 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 13202 N. Yale Road in Mead at 2:58 p.m.
