Deadline Today To Sign Up To Vote
Want to vote on Spokane’s proposed city-county charter?
Cast a ballot on slot machines on Indian reservations?
Pick a candidate for City Council or Spokane county commissioner?
You can do that on Nov. 7, if you’re registered to vote by today.
You can still sign up at most fire stations in the city and county. Many libraries have registrars, as do some neighborhood centers. If you’ve moved since you last voted, you need to register at your new address.
If you haven’t voted for more than four years, your name may need to be re-registered.
Registering by today allows new voters to cast ballots at the polls. You can still register until Oct. 23 at the county elections office, but must vote by absentee ballot in the general election.
