Astrology Columnist Patric Walker Dies
Astrologer Patric Walker, whose urbane, literate horoscopes were read by millions around the world, died in his sleep at his apartment here after a long illness. He was 64.
Walker was “the class of the field among popular astrologers working today … Henry James in a profession of Danielle Steels,” according to a New York Times Magazine profile.
A typical Walker forecast: “It is time to listen to the still voice within and try to live by this principle: peace and tranquility are worth a thousand pieces of gold.”
His horoscope column was distributed by The New York Times Syndicate to more than 100 U.S. and Canadian newspapers.
