Mr. And Mrs. Pennel Greenacres

Claire and Laura Pennel, Greenacres, plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Friday and a reception Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Templin’s Resort, Post Falls.

Hosts for the event will be their daughters: Janet Anderson, Merrill, Wis.; and Joyce Bippes, Otis Orchards.

Married Oct. 27, 1945, in Spokane, the Pennels have four grandchildren.
