‘Great Guys’ photo exhibit

Spokane photographer Mike Cannon calls his photography exhibit at Spokane Falls Community College “Great Guys.”

And for good reason. The exhibit of 25 black-and-white prints taken over 20 years features just men.

Cannon wanted to capture the unique differences of men and set about to photograph Inland Northwest athletes and architects, mechanics and business men.

Cannon, who won his first photo competition when he was 14, is a staff photographer for the Community Colleges of Spokane. He completed SFCC’s photography program after he retired from his career with the 3M Co.

“Great Guys” runs through Sept. 28.
