City Hall To Close For Moving Day

From Staff Reports

City Hall will be closed Friday so employees can move into their new offices on the other side of town. The city sold its historic downtown building several months ago and will relocate City Hall to the former Coldwater Creek headquarters on Lake and Ella streets.

The new offices will be open Monday. Police and fire services will remain in the old building until the end of November when remodeling of the new City Hall should be complete.

The city sold the building because it could no longer accommodate all the city offices or house the fire trucks. It was purchased for $388,000 by CEDU, a private educational organization that is the parent company of Rocky Mountain Academy in Bonners Ferry. , DataTimes
