Is This Fair In Your Future
A unique kind of fair is coming to Spokane this weekend. And it has nothing to do with cows, chickens or bunnies, unless, of course, you were an animal in a past life.
It’s the Psychic Fair and it will be at the Spokane Convention Center Saturday and Sunday.
You may be asking yourself, what exactly is a Psychic Fair?
The Psychic Fair, sponsored by the Inner Peace Movement in Seattle, presents lectures and psychic readings.
The types of psychic readings include tarot, angel, palmistry, psychometry, crystal ball and several others. Readers are coming from all over the Northwest.
The focus of the fair is to teach people how they can expand their communication with their own angels through the use of psychic abilities.
“We work with our spiritual helpers or angels to tune into the angels of the person we’re doing the reading for,” says Janet Sierer of the Inner Peace Movement. “The readings can be very deep and are always positive. They are there to be a healing to people.
“We work with them that way so we can be of service to people, but also to let them know they can do things themselves,” Sierer says. “Everyone really has this ability; they just need to learn to work with it a little bit.”
Throughout the weekend, speakers will lecture on a variety of topics, such as angels, ESP, cycles of life, life purpose and gifts of the spirit. The lectures are free.
Psychic fairs have become quite popular in the Northwest recently. Last year’s fair drew more people than organizers could handle.
“We only had enough readers to work with only about 425 people,” recalls Sierer. “We had to send almost 200 people away, which was awful. This year, we’ll have a lot more people (readers).”
Admission to the Psychic Fair is free. But if you’d like to have psychic readings performed, the cost is $15, which gets you three readings. Additional readings cost $5.
