Ainge Calls It Quits

Danny Ainge, the fiery, long-shooting sparkplug who has spent the last three seasons as a Phoenix Sun guard, officially ended his 14-year National Basketball Association career to become a television analyst for Turner Sports.

Ainge fills a slot vacated by Doug Collins, who left TNT to become the coach and general manager of the Detroit Pistons. This will be a third career for Ainge, who played baseball briefly for the Toronto Blue Jays.
