Hockey Players Cleared

Prosecutors have dropped charges against the last two of five Massachusetts-Dartmouth hockey players charged in connection with the rape of another student in May.

The players were accused of sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman in an apartment May 4 after spending the afternoon with her, drinking rum and watching a pornographic video.

Prosecutors dropped charges against Allen Fucile, 20, of Medford and Jeramie DiBona, 21, of Weymouth.

A county grand jury threw out charges earlier this month against the other three men who originally faced charges.
