Former UI Athlete Admits To Violations

Former Idaho basketball player Jevon Green admitted in court on Monday to several probation violations and he will be sentenced on Oct. 4.

Green, who originally denied the violations, admitted throwing his girlfriend’s telephone and answering machine out of a dormitory window, moving without permission of his parole officer, leaving Idaho without permission and helping a friend escape with stolen beer from a convenience store clerk, according to Prosecutor Bill Thompson.

Thompson said the judge has three options - continue Green’s probation, place Green in the county jail or sentence Green to state prison. , DataTimes
