Cbs Scrambling For Ratings

CBS, trying to get some ratings traction for its four new drama series, will air the pilot episodes of “Central Park West,” “New York News,” “Courthouse” and “American Gothic” on two movie nights in October.

“Central Park West” will air Oct. 8, 9-10 p.m., followed by “New York News,” 10-11 p.m., instead of the Sunday movie.

“Courthouse” will be broadcast in the Tuesday movie block, Oct. 10, from 9-10 p.m. followed by “American Gothic,” 10-11 p.m.

“Central Park West,” “New York News,” “Courthouse” and “American Gothic” will also be seen in original episodes in their regular time slots.

“New York News” premieres in its regular time slot this Thursday from 9-10 p.m.
