Station Takes On Michigan
A radio station and talk show host have filed a lawsuit against the University of Michigan athletic department to obtain ownership information of vehicles used by athletes.
The suit, filed Monday by WFDF-AM and host Dave Barber in Genesee County Circuit Court, is seeking information to determine if any NCAA rules or criminal laws have been broken.
Keith Molin, special assistant to the athletic director, said Barber asked for information regarding the possession of a 1996 Ford Explorer driven by basketball player Maurice Taylor in a Feb. 17 wreck.
