Water Quality Advice Available

Rural property owners interested in preserving the quality of their water can enroll in a new program offered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, formerly the Soil Conservation Service.

The water program, called Home*A*Syst, is free and gives information to property owners on how to best protect their water quality.

Two Americorps members are administering the program in North Idaho. The program involves a site evaluation, a risk-assessment, and assistance in planning site improvements.
