Charge Dropped

A domestic violence charge against Seattle Seahawks player Cortez Kennedy has been dismissed because the Bellevue, Wash., city prosecutor’s office was unable to locate Kennedy’s estranged wife, Nicole, for the past week.

University of Miami reserve linebacker Marlin Barnes, and a woman, Timwanika Lumpkins, were slain in a campus apartment attack discovered by a student who found his door blocked by a bloody body.
