Shoshone Sheriff Adds Canine Partner

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Department will use a new police dog to help them search for drugs and criminals.

The dog, named Trekar Moselle Muhlhausen - Tre for short - arrived on Saturday. The 3-1/2-year-old dog had been working at the Twin Falls Police Department.

Deputy Martin Garitone will handle the dog. He said Tre will be able to detect narcotics and track fleeing suspects.

Twenty Shoshone County community organizations donated money to buy the dog. , DataTimes
