Man Pleads Guilty To Lewd Conduct
A man accused of molesting two teenage boys while posing as a psychiatrist pleaded guilty to lewd conduct Wednesday.
Larry Leombruno, 46, of Harrison, Idaho, was charged with two counts of sexual battery in August after two 17-year-old boys told investigators he molested them while pretending to give them “brain wave synchronizing” therapy.
As part of a plea agreement, Leombruno pleaded guilty to one count of lewd conduct in exchange for the other charge being dropped, said Scot Nass, Kootenai County deputy prosecutor.
Leombruno, a convicted sex offender in California, had the boys come to his home at different times to do odd jobs.
One youth said Leombruno offered to help him learn different languages through hypnotherapy. The other youth said Leombruno offered to help him quit drugs.
In both instances, the youths said Leombruno had them wear dark sunglasses with lights set into them. The youths could not see out of the sunglasses as the lights inside flashed in their eyes.
Leombruno would massage and molest the teens while the lights flashed, the boys said during an earlier hearing.
One youth said Leombruno told him he needed a sperm sample.
Leombruno is scheduled to be sentenced July 23.
He faces up to 15 years in prison.
