Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: If your daughter or son is planning to live in a dormitory, especially one with a communal bath, buy a small plastic pail and place all bath and grooming items in it. It can be carried back and forth from the room to the bath and hopefully your child will never arrive at the bathroom without shampoo, soap, deodorant or toothpaste.

This also works at home. Make a bucket for yourself if you don’t want the kids to use your $10 bottle of shampoo for bubble bath. - K. Joyce McDonald, San Antonio
