Dollar Falls As Mark Rebounds
The dollar ended narrowly lower against most major currencies Wednesday in light trading as the German mark staged a moderate recovery from a week of selling.
Lower U.S. stock and bond markets also helped pull the dollar down against the mark and Japanese yen.
As of 4 p.m. in New York, the dollar traded at 1.5203 marks, down from 1.5212 at the same time Tuesday. The dollar also traded at 106.53 yen, down from 106.67.
