Olympic Tickets Remain

About 240,000 new Olympic tickets are going on the market, including seats for prime events such as boxing, basketball and track and field that previously were listed as sold out.

The newly available tickets go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. by telephone (404-744-1996) and through the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games site on the Internet (www.atlanta.olympic.org). A Visa card is required for payment.

Atlanta Olympics announced Rafer Johnson, who carried the torch on its final leg up the Coliseum steps in 1984 to light the flame that burned throughout the Los Angeles Games, would start the Olympic torch on its journey from L.A. to Atlanta.
