Wading For You

Weeks ago, when The Slice asked readers for snapshots of little kids in wading pools, we noted that chances for publication would be improved if there was also a dog in the picture.

But we didn’t expect what happened next. More than half of the photos arriving in our mailbox featured canines in pools all by themselves. No kids. No mommies. Just wet pooches.

So today we present the Dog Days of Summer. (And all this time, you thought that was just an expression.)

As you can see, people aren’t the only Inland Northwest residents who enjoy taking a dip when the temperatures soar.

Everybody into the water.

Woof.
