High school basketball star Ronnie Fields and two acquaintances entered pleas of innocent to misdemeanor charges of criminal sexual abuse in Chicago, officials said.

Tony George’s Indy Racing League will stage the first night race in Indy-car racing when the fledgling circuit visits the new Texas Motor Speedway next summer at Fort Worth, Texas. The inaugural Longhorn 500 is to be held June 7 at the speedway, which is still under construction.

Texas Motor Speedway is to seat 150,061, second only to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The IRL race, however, won’t keep CART from staging its own race at a $110 million facility at Alliance Airport, north of Fort Worth.
