Youth Commission Needs Teens For Its Council
Looking for a way to get involved with real issues that involve teens like you? The Chase Youth Commission is accepting applications for its Teen Advisory Council for the 1996-97 school year.
The council helps the Chase Youth Commission and the City of Spokane address the concerns of Spokane area teens. It’s a chance for youth from a variety of schools and groups to share information, network and influence what happens in their town.
Terms are for one year and meetings are held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. once a month, starting in October.
Kids in grades nine through 12 are eligible to apply. Forms are available at the youth department in City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. The deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 20.
Call 625-6440 if you have any questions.
