Cardinals Move To 9-0 With Rout

Andre McKanstrey scored 29 points and three other Cardinals were in double figures as North Idaho College remained undefeated by whipping Wenatchee Valley 94-74 Tuesday night in a non-conference basketball game at Wenatchee.

North Idaho (9-0, 2-0) got 13 points from Chris Harrison and 10 apiece from Shawn Myrick and Todd Myles.

The Cardinals failed to crack the men’s rankings in the national junior college poll released Tuesday despite defeating then-No. 3 Utah Valley last Thursday.

Utah Valley (10-1, 1-1) dropped to fifth.

Southern Idaho (10-0, 1-0) is seventh and College of Eastern Utah (11-0, 2-0) is 18th.
