CV Students Will Return Early

Students in the Central Valley School District will make up two missed school days on Jan. 2 and 3, at the end of winter break, the school board decided at its regular meeting Monday night.

The third day that was canceled during November’s ice storm was scheduled for June 13, the Friday after school originally was to let out.

Board members acknowledged that the plan would likely raise some complaints. They chose those days to comply with state law.

The Spokane District 81 School Board may discuss how to make up the missed days at its meeting today, according to Superintendent Gary Livingston. , DataTimes
