Olympic organizers are closing the books on the Atlanta Games with a surplus expected to be less than $10 million. Olympic organizers budgeted $1.7 billion for the Games. Tuesday’s financial update was the first for the board of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games since the Summer Games.
