Storm Watch, But Drying Trend Coming

From Staff And Wire Reports

Snowfall predicted for the Spokane area this morning is expected to end around 10 a.m.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for northeast Washington and North Idaho for today. Four to six inches of snow were expected in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene with more in higher elevations.

The extended outlook calls for a chance of snow Saturday afternoon followed by a drying trend.

A high-pressure ridge is expected to form off the coast and replace the low-pressure storm-maker that’s been in place for days, forecasters said.
