Norwegian brothers Trond Einar Elden and Baard Joergen Elden took charge midway through a six-lap ski race and got their second consecutive 2-man relay victory in the World Cup Nordic combined at Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Fritz Strobl led an Austrian sweep of the top four places, winning a weather-delayed downhill at Val D’isere, France, for his first World Cup victory.

Battling wind chill temperatures of 70 degrees below zero at Aspen, Colo., defending champions Axel Naglich and Christopher Reindl of Kitzbuehel, Austria, won their third 24 Hours of Aspen race in five years.
