Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: My mother has found a great way to keep her shower clean and to cut down on the amount of scrubbing. She keeps a window squeegee hanging in the shower. After she finishes her shower, she takes the rubber edge and whisks the water off the fiberglass walls and in the tub. Spot-free everything! Then she takes the towel she’s dried off with and wipes all water from the sides and bottom of the tub. It only takes a minute of time and the shower stays so clean that the curtains remain open at all times (even when she has a house full of guests) to reveal a spotless, shiny tub! - Cris Coffey, Indiana

Dear Heloise: If I place something in the refrigerator or freezer (my own or someone else’s) that I need to take with me, I put my keys in the refrigerator (or freezer). Since I can’t leave the house or drive my car without my keys, I never forget the refrigerated (or frozen) items. - Felice, Merion, Pa. xxxx
