Suspect Returns, Nabbed

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man accused of robbing a Spokane Valley convenience store Tuesday was arrested three days later after returning to buy cigarettes, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Timothy Obermeyer, 18, of Spokane was in jail Sunday on a first-degree robbery charge. Bond was set at $20,000.

Obermeyer was arrested by deputies shortly after leaving Express Lane Food Mart, 13819 E. Trent, at 2 p.m. Friday.

The clerk who sold him cigarettes was the victim of the gunpoint robbery, deputies said.
